Hi! I’m Lavera, but most people just call me Lav. I’m 18, and I was born and raised in Tallinn, right by the sea. My name isn’t super common here, which I actually love — it makes me feel a little bit like a character from a fantasy book.

I grew up surrounded by grey limestone walls, medieval streets, and the absolute chaos of seagulls stealing people’s food. I think that’s why I’m such a mix of old soul and total adrenaline junkie. One moment I’m reading poetry under a rainy window, the next I’m taking my bike to the middle of nowhere just to watch the sunset over the Baltic.

My goals
Short-term? I want to save enough money from my café job to travel somewhere warm this winter. Maybe Spain or Portugal. I want to see the ocean that doesn’t freeze.

Long-term? I dream of becoming a documentary photographer. Not the fancy kind with huge studios. The real kind — telling stories of ordinary people, of forgotten places, of things that most people scroll past on their phones. I want to capture that one second when someone’s guard is down and you can see them.
